June 2007 Events
Racine
Downtown Racine will light up this Summer with light houses as the 2007 public art event. Over seventy five light houses will become works of art with a twenty foot light house sponsored by the Johnson Company in Monument Square. The finished light houses will be placed in front of downtown businesses on June 3rd.
The first couple of First Friday of 2007 began on a cool note but it didn’t keep the crowds away. With temps cool the music was hot, regardless of weather its fun for everyone. From now on set aside the first Friday of each month, listen to the music, eat at one of the great restaurants, take a leisurely stroll through the unique shops. You will be amazed at what you will find and its all in downtown Racine.
Downtown Racine is a great place to find that special gift for that special person, and enjoy the many restaurants, unique shops, and events the city has to offer.
Remember free evening concerts on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
