Charles Gibson
Originally from Chicago, Charles studied at the American Academy of Art. He worked for several years in both the United States and South America as a graphic artist. His passion for fine art led him to paint full-time, and by traveling around the world he was able to absorb the styles of several other artists. After a substantial amount of exposure to art, Charles has found that it is most fulfilling for him to paint landscapes in an abstract way. This allows a great expression of color to explode in his work, as he exaggerates the scene from an academic viewpoint.

Craig Brandt
Photographer Craig Brandt is formally trained as a musician, but it is his eyes that he uses to orchestrate his photography. Craig composes his photographic images as a maestro puts a melody to paper. Each image is music to your eyes, with the subtle use of light he adds dimension to his images similar to a painter using color to add depth where there is none. The highlighted areas come alive when the right amount of light is added, mundane objects become exciting and vibrant colors are intensified. Craig is inspired by the likes of famed photographers Ansel Adams, David Black and Joe McNally. His desire is to capture those chosen moments in life and make them into exceptional images to be shared with others.

Igor Menaker
Born in a remote town in Eastern Siberia to Geologist parents, Igor spent a great deal of time in remote areas. While his parents pursued their science, Igor was left to wonder in the wilderness. In ways he felt that was his home. He had not discovered photography so the scenery was only ingrained in his mind. Years later he had not forgotten the beauty that was bestowed on the Earth.
He is now living with his parents in Chicago, and his love of the natural world remained with him. He began using an inexpensive camera to capture what he was seeing. While on one of his trip to the Western United State he purchased a book on landscape photography and his life changed immediately, he realized that there was more to photography than snapshots. It is an art, one he could do.

In 1983 faced with leukemia and no cure in sight, Janne felt a need to make some major decisions about what she wanted to accomplish while still on Earth. At the time, she was the director of an art gallery in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She asked two of the artists to take her on as a pupil and progressed quickly from a beginning artist to producing work that was accepted and won juried shows. She feels art played a major role in helping her win her battle with cancer. Whether it is a flower, a resting wooden boat, fresh fruit or snowcapped mountain, painting representational images is Janne’s most rewarding aspect of life. Her use of acrylics produces rich, vibrant colors that aid her desire to draw the viewer in for a closer look and contemplation.
